What Your Phone Case Says About You

So here are six moods, and what each one tends to reach for. Take it as a starting point, not a personality test.

Coquette

Bows, hearts, a little deliberate sweetness. The coquette case is warm rather than loud: a heart charm — or the blank heart if you want the shape without announcing anything. Two hearts is not too many. That is rather the point.

It girl

Whatever is next, slightly before everyone else. A star is the it-girl charm right now: small, bright, and it photographs beautifully under bad restaurant lighting. Match the charm to the case hardware and the whole thing reads as one piece.

Old money

Nothing new-looking, nothing shouting. A single letter charm — your own initial, and no second charm. Your initial, worn as a charm, is the oldest form of quiet flex there is: it says the object is yours specifically, and it says nothing else at all.

Clean girl
